The Bloody Burrows
A downloadable game
An adventure location for Mausritter.
By day the burrows look like an idyllic location, nestled in the roots of an old willow tree on the bank of a gently burbling stream. However, apart from some insects who like the solitude, nobody calls the burrows home.
Nobody living, at least.
By night three ethereal voles — known locally as the Midnight Washervoles — can be seen washing laundry. Adults living nearby avoid the burrows but, keen to see the mysterious voles, local children will sneak out and try to catch a glimpse. However, only the sharp eyed and swift legged see them and return to tell the tale.
Not a lot is known for certain about the Washervoles but they do appear to be unfriendly, quick-witted, and washing burial shrouds.
This adventure site comes with:
- A primary antagonist, the Washervoles, and a magic item
- Two hooks, each with two NPCs and two items
- A map of the burrows
- Three random encounter creatures
- Playing card-sized creature cards for easy access to the stats during play
The adventure itself comes in screen and print forms. The screen PDF has an ink-heavy cover and spreads, the print PDF has an alternative cover and is arranged to be printed double-sided onto A4 and folded into an A5 booklet. The item cards should be printed onto card stock and cut out. The creature cards are available in two formats: either printed double sided if your printer has good alignment, or printed then cut/folded/glued to make double-sided cards.
If these PDFs don't work for you, please get in touch.

Nice job Ross. Really cool to see you producing Mausritter content! I'm planning on running in the next time my group has a gap in its schedule. Cheers.
Thanks Elliot! A review would be appreciated when you’ve played it, and any feedback would be great.
